When all your messages, tasks, files and colleagues are in one place, you can really get a handle on the true cost of a project. Use Pelotonics to really break down your tasks into measurable activities. Since the system is flexible about how you can label your activities, project managers can establish the categories themselves to make sure the data they collect is valuable.

For example, you might want to keep track of billable items, such as time spent designing a logo, plus overhead items, such as time spent gathering the media files/examples needed to get started with the logo.

For each company, you can track multiple projects, so you can divide tasks by company and then by project. The reporting system lets you break down the metrics a number of ways. So, for example, you can see how many hours per week your crew spends in general correspondence with all clients or how many total hours a designer spent on one project for one client.

After a few weeks of tracking your team’s time, you’ll be able to see where the bottlenecks are and make adjustments to increase your team’s productivity.
